SOUTHBURY, CT — A Southbury resident is $20,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in Southbury, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
James Velky Jr. won $20,000 playing a "20X CASH 5TH EDITION" game. The winning ticket was purchased from the Super Stop and Shop on Main Street North.
The $20 scratch off game, which only has one $20,000 grand prize left, is ending soon, according to the lottery. Its overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
