Southbury Residents Are Very Happy: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT — It's very possible that Southbury is the happiest place in the state of Connecticut. According to a recent community survey, a whopping 99 percent of residents said their quality of life in town is "good" or "very good," the Republican-American reports.

Elements that were noted in the survey include the strong school system, local neighborhoods and overall town character.

The results were based on nearly 1,200 respondents. Receiving very high marks was the town's library and public safety departments, while an area that needs improving is the number of programs for youths.
