Southbury Road Repair Project May Lead to Traffic Delays: Officials
However, the road will remain open, which is definitely good news.

Jeremy Swamp Road - Road Repairs
The Town of Southbury is beginning the next phase of the roadway reconstruction project for Jeremy Swamp Road on August 26, 2015. The next phase of the project will be to replace and install new drainage along the roadway from the bridle path to Jacob Road.
The road is being reconstructed in multiple phases over the next three years. The initial phase was tree trimming and removal along the edge of the road. The second part will consist of drainage repairs and installation. Roadway surface reclaiming and grading will commence shortly after the drainage repairs. The Town will restore affected areas by loaming, seeding, repairing walkways and driveway aprons.

The entire road will be reconstructed over the next three years. The road is being done in phases to limit disturbance and to spread the cost over time.
Please anticipate traffic delays and gravel road conditions during construction, however the road will remain open for mail delivery, emergency vehicles, and local traffic. No street parking will be allowed within the construction areas.
