Southbury Selectmen Will Most Likely Approve New Policy for Sealed Bids
This is the second review of the policy in under three years.

The Southbury Board of Selectmen is expected to approve a new bidding and procurement policy next week, Chris Gardner reports for the Republican-American.
The new policy, which was recommended by a Bidding and Procurement Policy Review Committee, will lower the threshold for seeking a sealed bid from $20,000 to $15,000, the paper reports.
The Board of Finance approved the change last week. According to the paper, the Board of Selectmen decided to postpone a decision till their Dec. 4 meeting so revisions could be made.
