Southbury Teen Led Police On Pursuit, Clocked at 88 MPH: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT — Nicole Barrere, 18, of Southbury is accused of leading police in a pursuit Friday night where she was traveling at speeds that reached 88 mph, the Connecticut Post reports. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. Friday on Interstate 84 westbound near Exit 16.

The pursuit went from I-84 to Route 172 and police ceased the pursuit due to the high speeds, the Connecticut Post reports. Police ran the registration of the vehicle and arrived at Barrere's house where she was charged, the Connecticut Post reports.
