Southbury Voters to Decide Buying Farm Development Rights

The town meeting will be held Aug. 20.

Whether or not Southbury should purchase development rights for a farm will be decided at a town meeting Thursday.

According to an article in the Republican-American, Southbury voters will be asked to approve a budget transfer of $85,478, which is the town’s share of the $297,099 price for the 14.7 acre Ragland Farm.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall on Main Street South.
