Southbury Woman Charged with Leaving Child Unattended in Vehicle
The woman left the child in the car while she went shopping.
A Southbury woman was arrested for leaving her 21-month-old child locked inside her car while she went shopping, the Republican-American reports.
Chandler Lee Zimmerman, 22, left the child locked inside for 13 minutes.
According to the paper, Zimmerman was charged with leaving a child under 12-years-old unsupervised in a public place or motor vehicle and was released on a promise to appear at a hearing at Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 19.
