Southbury Woman Competing For Top Model Contest

SOUTHBURY, CT — Margaret Buzak, 24, has risen to the top spot on VIVA Glam Magazine’s Top Model 2018 list. The contest is a 4 week international competition seeking a beauty who is kind, grateful, passionate about modeling and aged 18 and 50 years. Family and friends of contestants are urged to vote every day in an effort to create enthusiasm and support for the aspiring model.

Margaret is a para-professional educator at a local elementary school and simultaneously envisions a modeling career. Her first point of contact into the profession was through an introduction to renowned Photographer Fernando Ulloa, Jr.

With Fernando’s encouragement, Margaret took on more complex photo shoots and launched her confidence driven career. When asked what model she looks up to, Margarget said, “I admire Cara Delevingne quite a bit. Known for her fun and silly nature, she continues to rock it as a super model.”

With dreams of a modeling career, Margaret entered the VIVA Glam Top Model Contest on a whim, never imagining what was about to unfold. Using social media to promote her endeavor, she swiftly rose to a Top Ten spot on the prestigious international list.

Her steep rise on the VIVA Glam chart ignited a flurry of support and soon she had garnered the #1 spot in the competition. With a fresh wholesome look and a mantra to spread kindness, this girl is making strides toward a dream come true.

While in high school she was a stand out in Karie Neville’s Choir at Bethel High School. “Margaret Buzak, a 2012 graduate, is a talented singer and actress who has pursued her passion for the arts far beyond the high school stage. She made an impact on my daily life in the classroom and on the musical stage with her kindness, sensitivity to others, leadership, strong work ethic and effervescent personality. She is a stunning young woman who has the most beautiful soul. I’m very proud of her accomplishments and desire to give back to others. Margaret is a role model for young women. I know she will achieve her dreams and I’m happy to call her a friend,” said Ms. Neville. Karie inspired Margaret and while teaching her to sing her song, also taught her to dream big and shoot for the sky.
