Southbury Woman Strikes Victim With Ice Scraper: Naugatuck PD
The accused was released on a $5,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Southbury woman is accused of striking a person with an ice scraper, Naugatuck Police said. On Feb. 17 at 3:05 a.m. officers responded to the area of North Church Street on a report of a physical domestic dispute in a motor vehicle, police said.
It was discovered through the investigation that Anna Lewis, 36, of Lakemere Drive, was under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, police said. The accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Lewis struck the victim using a ice scraper, police said.
She is charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, second-degree reckless endangerment, and illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
