Southbury's First Selectman-Elect Makes an Important Hire: Report
Jeffrey Manville takes the oath of office on Monday, Dec. 7.

Southbury First Selectman-Elect Jeffrey Manville, a Republican, who will begin his term as the town’s top elected official on Dec. 7, has hired Cindy Harrison to become his assistant, the Republican-American reports.
Manville and Harrison have known each other since childhood, and Harrison, who owns the Breezy Knolls Farm with her husband, also has an extensive background in finance including as a public accountant, the Rep-Am reports.
Once Manville takes the oath of office he plans to work on next year’s budget request.
