Everyone knows by now a potentially historic blizzard is about to hit Southbury later today, and we’ll let you know hour-by-hour when the worse part of the storm is about to hit, and when the snow begins.

Light snow is expected to begin in Southbury around 3 p.m. and continue until 6 p.m. Winds won’t be too bad, around 13 miles per hour.

From 7-12 a.m. it will be steady snow in Southbury.
At 1 a.m. a heavy snow warning has been issued and winds will increase to around 23 miles per hour.

Those conditions will continue until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
From 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. snow and wind are forecast but it won’t be as heavy.
The storm starts to taper off around noon as snow showers, and will linger all the way until 10 p.m. as snow showers, though it will still be windy.
