Southford Falls Park In Southbury Closed To New Visitors

SOUTHBURY, CT — Southford Falls State Park closed before 10 a.m. Saturday to new visitors after its parking lot reached capacity, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

The weather forecast for today is sunny with a high near 63 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Next week will have several days of rain.

Gov. Ned Lamont signed an executive order that gives park officials the power to close parks to additional visitors in an effort to promote effective social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic.
