Speeding Motorists Draw Concern in Southbury: Report

Residents in one section of town are requesting their road be turned into a dead end.

Southbury, CT - A group of local residents living in the Dublin Hill Road area have written a letter of concern to Southbury officials saying speeders are adversely impacting their quality of life, the Republican-American.

The concerned residents are seeking to make Dublin Hill Road, which comes out to Main Street North, a dead end, but town officials say the Planning and Zoning Commission would have to make that request.

Police officials also noted there have been no accidents on that road in 2 years. Southbury officials say they will continue to monitor the situation.
