Suspected Beer Thief Sought By Southbury Police

The shoplifting incident occurred on Jan. 13 at the ShopRite on Main Street South in Southbury, according to authorities.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A woman walked out of the Southbury ShopRite supermarket without paying for $173 worth of beer earlier this month, and the Southbury Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding her.

The shoplifting occurred at the Main Street South store on Jan. 13, and after the woman left the store, she was "seen getting into a white Acura SUV with a New York license plate," according to police.
