Thank you to our community for the outpouring of love and support you have shown to residents affected by the flood. From the food and clothing drives over the weekend, to our nonprofits and faith-based organizations, and to individuals who have walked into hard hit areas with boots on and shovels in hand to help people they didn’t know, you give our community hope.

I am proud of our community and municipal/Region 15 leadership and staff who have stepped up in every way possible to restore our beautiful town. The amount of work that our municipal teams have completed to get roads and schools open, and assistance to residents in need has been astounding. I am proud to call Southbury home and community members my friends.
