Theft Reported at Southbury Liquor Store

Several bottles of liquor were stolen from a Southbury liquor store this week, according to Southbury police.

The theft was committed at Lake Wine and Spirits on 180 Main St. South in Southbury on Monday Jan. 30 at approximately 1:25 p.m. The value of the stolen liquor is approximately $220, according to police reports.

Southbury police are investigating the incident and asking local residents for assistance. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Southbury Police Department at (203) 264-5912.

This incident is the third such reported theft in the past week in Southbury.

Southbury police are also investigating the larceny of an Iphone from a home on Main St. North in Southbury and the theft of jewelry from a residence at Pomperaug Woods located at 80 Heritage Rd. in Southbury, according to police reports.
