After much consideration, the Planning Commission has decided to postpone the Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) Open House scheduled for tonight, January 13th at Town Hall. This decision is based on concerns about public health and safety with the current COVID-19 surge as well as a staffing shortage due to COVID cases.

The open house will be held in-person at a later date once COVID-19 cases have decreased. The Planning Commission wants residents to feel safe to attend the open house and offer their input. An announcement will be made once the new date has been finalized.
In the meantime, the consultants from SLR International are prepared to work with the Planning Commission to hold a virtual community forum to gather data necessary for the POCD update. The consultants are experienced in gathering information through this platform. More information about this event will be available soon.
