Travel Ban Lifted in Southbury, Residents Encouraged to Stay off Roads During Clean Up

First Selectman Ed Edelson encourages residents to stay off the roads as crews continue clearing the streets.

Southbury First Selectman Ed Edelson advises residents that although the travel ban will be lifted at 2 p.m. today, they are encouraged to stay off the roads while clean-up continues through the late afternoon.

Town operations should be back to normal on Wednesday.

There were no reported accidents last night nor any storm related power outages.

First Selectman Ed Edelson thanked the Public Works staff and thanked those who donated food to keep them going through the night and morning.
