Truck Driver Charged With Weapons Violation In Southbury: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT — Kenneth Alan Rodgers, 35, of Arkansas was stopped on Interstate 84 in Southbury last Friday and was found to have a pistol without a permit in his truck, the Republican-American reports.

The truck was stopped near Exit 16 around 11:20 p.m. because Rodgers' commercial truck was too big for the route he was on, the Rep-Am reports. Police said Rodgers didn't have a Connecticut or Arkansas firearms permit.
