Update On the Closure of Oak Tree Road in Southbury

SOUTHBURY, CT — Update on the closure of Oak Tree Road as Southbury officials update the project in photos.

The State of Connecticut has ordered the town to close the bridge over Bullet Hill Brook on Oak Tree Road.

This closure is due to structural issues that create a public safety hazard. (Please see the pictures showing the damage.) The town is working diligently to get this resolved as soon as possible. All businesses are still accessible from either end of Oak Tree Road.
