The Watermark Announces New Community Life Director
Christine Daniel brings experience, energy and creativity to her role at senior living community

The Watermark at East Hill is pleased to announce the recent addition of Christine Daniel as Community Life Director for the senior living community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.
Daniel’s primary responsibility at The Watermark will be coordinating events and activities for the community, including residents, family members, guests and associates. Her philosophy of “it’s never too late to try something new” along with her active engagement with everyone that comes through the door will allow her to create an activity schedule customized to fit the needs of everyone living, working at, or visiting the community.
“Christine brings to the table experience and enthusiasm that I am confident will translate well to her new role at The Watermark,” said Connie Haworth, Executive Director at The Watermark. “Providing our residents with quality programs and a sense of community is a vital component to our mission, and we are thrilled to welcome Christine to our talented team of associates.”

Prior to The Watermark, Daniel served as Director of Activities at Judson Meadows Assisted Living in Glenville, New York where she worked from the ground-up to design and implement a comprehensive activities program for the community. Additionally, Daniel has served as the Director of Therapeutic Recreation and Volunteers at the Whittier Skilled Nursing Facility in Ghent, New York as well as the Albany County Nursing Home in Albany, New York.
“I was so impressed by The Watermark’s ability to offer residents a dynamic lineup of events and activities, that it made the decision to move from upstate New York to Connecticut an easy one,” said Daniel. “I look forward to incorporating my own unique perspective into Community Life at The Watermark and am excited to become an integral part of this vital aspect of the community.”

Daniel earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta in 2006. Born and raised in the Catskill Mountains, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancée and their lab-mix, Georgia.
