The Watermark at East Hill Announces Southbury Community Events in September

Dates announced for professional networking, discovery luncheon, road show and caregiver support group

The Watermark at East Hill announced today multiple events and meetings open to the public throughout the month of September.

Professional Networking- Sangria & Psychics – Tarot cards are among the most recognizable and popular methods for psychic readings. Enjoy a glass of sangria while revealing a depth of information about yourself.
• Thursday, September 7, 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Road Show on the Go – Join us for lunch at Vasi’s Restaurant in Waterbury and learn about life at The Watermark at East Hill. The presentation will include how the community helps residents thrive and the flexible living options available. Seating is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible.

Discovery Luncheon: Staying Vertical – This informative luncheon presented by Health Pro will focus on different factors that contribute to slips, trips, and falls on walking surfaces and how to avoid them. A free balance screening will follow after the luncheon.

• Wednesday, September 27, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Caregiver Support Group – Family and friends of those living with Alzheimer’s are encouraged to attend for up-to-date research and information on the disease, treatment and maintaining a healthy balance. Director of Health Services, Denise Julian, will provide information, emotional support and problem solving tips for caregivers and family members.
• Wednesday, September 27, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
