Watermark to Host Safe Trick-or-Treating Event
Free event includes candy and games for children in Southbury
The Watermark at East Hill today announced it will host a “Spooktacular and Safe Halloween” trick-or-treating event. Children and their families are invited to the senior living community on Halloween (10/31) for indoor trick-or-treating from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Watermark at East Hill is located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will include trick-or-treating as well as games and other activities in the main lobby of the community. In addition to collecting candy, children and their families can enjoy playing witch hat ring toss, candy corn bowling, Jack-O-Lantern can toss.
“We wanted to celebrate Halloween in a special way that brings our residents and younger families in the community together,” said Christine Daniel, Community Life Director at The Watermark at East Hill. “It’s a win-win for everyone -the residents and kids have a great time, and parents can have peace-of-mind that their children are collecting candy in a safe environment.”
