Winning CT Lottery Scratch-Off Ticket Sold In Southbury
A New York resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
SOUTHBURY, CT — A Flushing, New York, resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket that was purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, Zhi Tuan Chen claimed a winning 30X Cash 8th Edition ticket that had been purchased at the Super Stop & Shop, on Main Street North in Southbury.
The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in May, and as of Wednesday, 68 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed, according to lottery officials. More than 1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
