Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Southbury

A local resident also is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A Southbury resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket she purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, Molly Huebenthal claimed a winning "10X Cash 15th Edition" ticket she purchased at Main Street Convenience on Main Street South.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May 2021, and as of Thursday, 80 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 5.2 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
