Woman Left The Accident Scene in Southbury: Report

Police say the accused lost control of her car briefly as she was checking on her crying baby and then she hit another vehicle.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Bianca D. Cherry, 31, of Scuppo Road in Danbury has been charged with evading responsibility after an accident occurred on I-84 West near Exit 16 in Danbury on Saturday afternoon, the Republican-American reports.

Police say Cherry checked on her baby who was crying and her vehicle crossed over into another lane and she struck another vehicle. Cherry initially stopped but then left the area in her car and was later charged, the Rep-Am reports.
