Woman Sentenced For Stealing From Southbury Couple: Report
The woman worked as the couple's housekeeper and pawned the stolen cash and jewelry which was in excess of $25K, police have said.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Patricia Ann Santamaria, 47, of Naugatuck avoided jail time after being sentenced to five years of probation for stealing more than $25,000 in cash and jewelry while working for a Southbury couple, the Republican-American reports.
Santamaria worked for the couple as a housekeeper and pawned the stolen items, the Rep-Am reports. The thefts date back to 2012. She pled guilty under the Alford Doctrine.
