Woodbury Man Charged With Reckless Driving In Southbury: Police
A man is facing charges that he did "burnouts" and "donuts" in a populated parking lot in Southbury, according to police.
SOUTHBURY, CT — Police arrested a Woodbury man for reckless driving last week. Police were conducted a routine patrol at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday at Southbury Plaza when they spotted a black pickup truck doing "burnouts" and "donuts" in the parking lot.
The driver was doing burnouts in "a populated area that had several parked cars in the vicinity," according to police.
A Woodbury man was arrested for reckless driving. He was later released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Courthouse on Nov. 1.
