Update: Silver Alert For Missing Southington Girl Resolved
Southington police were looking for Kayla Griffin, 16. Friday afternoon, they announced the case was resolved.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police were looking for a 16-year-old girl who went missing earlier in the day, according to a Silver Alert issued Thursday evening.
But after nearly a day, police Friday afternoon said the situation had been resolved, according to an announcement by Southington police at 1:51 p.m.
According to the original alert, which was sent out at 7:03 p.m. Thursday, Southington police were looking for Kayla Griffin, 16, described by police as a white female with black hair and brown eyes.
