16-Year-Old Runaway Southington Girl Sought

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police are looking for a 16-year-old girl described as an "endangered runaway," according to a Silver Alert issued Tuesday afternoon.

According to the alert, which went out at 3:26 p.m., Southington police are looking for Kayla Griffin, 16, who is described as a white female with black hair and blue eyes.

Police said she stands 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.

The alert did not include a photograph of Griffin, nor did it have any clothing information.

Anyone with information on Griffin's whereabouts is asked to call the Southington Police Department at 860-624-0101.
