65-Year-Old From Southington Facing 1st-Degree Sex Assault Charge

A 65-year-old Southington resident has been arrested for first-degree sexual assault, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A 65-year-old Southington resident has been arrested for first-degree sexual assault, police said.

At 8:10 a.m. Thursday, David Boulanger was taken into custody at his home without incident, police said Boulanger was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of fourth-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury to a child/impairing the morals of a child, police said.

Boulanger was held on a court-set bond of $150,000 and was to be arraigned on Thursday, police said.

The incidents took place in 2015 and 2016 and the vhe victim was known to Boulanger, police said.

The warrant was sealed by the court.
