67-Year-Old Facing Child Porn Charge In Southington

Southington resident is in custody on a child porn charge, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A 67-year-old Southington resident is facing a child pornography charges after being caught with hundreds of illicit electronic images featuring minors, police said.

Police released the details of the Jan. 14 arrest of Philip Graveline on Thursday. Graveline was charged with second-degree possession of child porography on a warrant.

Police said they received a tip that Graveline was in possession of child pornography. A search warrant was secured and served at his residence and, during the investgation, police found more than 300 images deemed to be child pornography on is computer, according to a report.

Graveline was initially held on a $250,000 bond and that was reduced to $100,000 in New Britain Superior Court the following day, judicial system recods show. Graveline did not post the $100,000 and remained in custody on Thursday, records show. He is due back before a judge on Jan. 29, according to records.
