7-Figure Lottery Prize With Southington Ties Shrouded in Mystery
A seven-figure lottery win with Southington connections has some mystery to it.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A huge Connecticut Lottery win with Southington ties has a mysterious tone to it.
The winners did not consent to interviews or photographs, so all the public knows is that a top prize in the $5,000,000 Ultimate game was claimed by entities called "Bernadette’s Trust"and "Christopher’s Trust."
The trusts came forward on Nov. 6 — Election Day — to claim the prize.

The top prize can be claimed as a $5 million annuity or the lump sum equivalent, which is $3.5 million, lottery officials said.
In the case of a week ago, the cash prize was divided equally between the two trusts, lottery officials said.

For selling the top prize winning ticket, Queen Street Sunoco, located at 474 Queen St. in Southington, will receive a $50,000 bonus from the CT Lottery.
The odds of winning a $5,000,000 Ultimate prize are 1 in 3.83. Of the 4 top prizes worth $5,000,000, 3 remain to be claimed.
