No Race In Southington, Wolcott's 80th House
There is no Democratic challenger for the district race, which includes all of Wolcott and part of Southington.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Voters living in the 80th House District in Southington do not have a contested house race when they go to the polls next week.
That's because incumbent state Rep. Gale Mastrofrancesco, R-Wolcott, is running without a Democratic challenger.

Mastrofrancesco, who is on the Wolcott Town Council, was re-elected to her second term in the legislature back in 2020 and is guaranteed at third term.
According to her legislative biography, she serves as a member of the finance, revenue and bonding and human services committees.

Two other House district are within Southington and both feature competitive races pitting Democrats and Republicans against each other.
In the 30th House, which includes Berlin and part of Southington, Democrat Denise McNair of Berlin is looking to unseat incumbent state Rep. Donna Veach, R-Berlin.
Meanwhile, in the 81st House, which only includes a large portion of Southington, Democrat Christopher Poulos is facing Republican Tony Morrison for a vacated seat.
Incumbent state Rep. John Fusco, R-Southington, is not seeking re-election.
