Aldi Offering Jobs With 'Hiring Event' in Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Aldi supermarket chain is hosting a "hiring event" in Southington.

The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 at the Aldi store at 811 Queen St. in Southington.

Interviews will be for manager trainees, shift manager and store associate positions, Aldi officials said. Store associates start at $13.10 per hour.

Aldi currently operates more than 1,750 stores in 35 states. Aldo recently announced a $3.4 billion "investment" plan to increase its store count to 2,500 locations and create 25,000 jobs by 2022.
