SOUTHINGTON, CT — Pet owners will have an opportunity to vaccinate their animals against rabies during a clinic scheduled for Saturday, June 13.
It will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Calendar House Senior Center, 388 Pleasant St.
Organizers said dogs must be kept on a leash and cats must be transported in carriers.
Residents are asked to remain in their vehicles with their pets until called for their turn.
Those seeking a three-year rabies vaccine must bring previous vaccination records.
The cost of vaccination is $20, and cash payments only will be accepted.
Southington Town Clerk's Office staff will be available at the clinic to issue dog licenses.
Payments for licensing must be made by cash or check payable to the Town of Southington. Credit cards will not be accepted.
