Health Care Facility To Host Open House, Touch-a-Truck In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Families looking for a free community event this week can visit Hartford HealthCare's Bradley Memorial Campus for an afternoon of health education, emergency vehicles and sweet treats.

The hospital will host an open house and Touch-a-Truck-style event on Tuesday, July 14, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Bradley Memorial Campus, 81 Meriden Ave., Southington.

The event is part of Southington's America 250th anniversary celebration and will introduce visitors to healthcare services available at Bradley Memorial while offering opportunities to meet local first responders.

According to Hartford HealthCare, attendees can expect:

• Healthcare screenings
• Health education and community resources
• Meet-and-greet opportunities with local first responders
• A Touch-a-Truck-style display featuring emergency vehicles
• Complimentary ice cream and sorbet
