Southington Residents Invited To Weigh In On Health, Quality Of Life Needs

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Adult Southington residents are being invited to share their views on the community's health, well-being, and health-care needs as part of a quality-of-life study being conducted by the Main Street Community Foundation.

The deadline to register for the event is this week.

The foundation will hold two "Community Conversation" sessions on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Southington Public Library, 255 Main St. Residents may participate from 9:30 to 11 a.m. or 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Organizers said the discussions are intended to hear directly from residents about community needs and priorities. The information gathered will help guide future Main Street Community Foundation investments aimed at improving health and quality of life.

Participants must be Southington residents age 18 or older.

Each participant will receive a $25 gift card as a thank-you, and snacks will be provided.

Space is limited, and residents are asked to register by Friday, Aug. 28.

The Southington Public Library is promoting the sessions in partnership with the foundation.
