The artists of Gallery One present "Viewing the Moment," an exhibition exploring moments in life, from everyday experiences to poignant memories that shape our lives. Whether it be painting, photography, or collage, the artists make meaningful connections through visual narratives. The show is on view at Southington Community Cultural Arts (SoCCA) from September 25 through October 17. Join the artists for the opening reception on Saturday, September 26, from 2pm to 4pm.
"The exhibition celebrates our shared experiences from quiet moments to connections with the changing world around us," said Gallery One artist Diana Rogers. "Our 10 artists invite the viewer to pause and share in the visual stories portrayed in each work.We are delighted to exhibit our work for the first time in the beautiful gallery space at SoCCA," she added.
Exhibiting artists include: Rosemary Cotnoir (Westbrook), Michael Fanelli (Clinton), Victor Filepp (New London), Karen Israel (West Hartford), Ann Knickerbocker (Old Saybrook), Brian McClear (West Hartford), T. Willie Raney (Ivoryton), Diana Rogers (Clinton), Rick Silberberg (Ivoryton), and Jill Vaughn (Ivoryton).
Southington Community Cultural Arts is located at 93 Main Street in Southington, CT. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
