Tickets Going Fast For Wine/Beer Fundraiser For Southington Museum

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Wine, local craft beer, food and live music will be on the menu when the Friends of the Barnes Museum hosts its annual Wine & Beer Tasting fundraiser in September.

The fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Barnes Museum in Southington, 85 N. Main St.

Worldwide Wine & Spirits will provide a selection of wines, while Kinsmen Brewing Co. will serve local craft beer. Light fare will be provided by Smokin' with Chris.

The afternoon will also feature live music and tours of the Barnes Museum, with guests invited to explore the museum and its grounds.

Proceeds from the event will support the Barnes Museum and its work to preserve and share Southington's history.

Tickets are $35 per person, and organizers said they are selling quickly.

The event is limited to people 21 and older.
