SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Southington resident Tuesday scratched off a maximum payout that should help he or she combat inflation this week.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the person won $20,000 playing the 20X Cash 10th Edition scratch-off game on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The winning ticket was purchased at Westview Convenience at 662 West St., Southington.
According to the lottery corp., the game costs $20 to play, with $20,000 being the maximum payout.
