Appalachian Trail hiker to tell about his solo journey

In August, Newington native and college student Ted Randich claimed the top of Mount Katahdin in Maine, completing his five-month walk of the Appalachian Trail. On Thursday, March 10, from 3 to 4 p.m., he will be sharing his story at Cedar Mountain Commons, 3 John H. Stewart Drive in Newington. During this free program, Randich will tell about his solo journey along 2,190 miles through 14 states, sharing photos and memories.
