Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA

• Olivia Fischer of Southington has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the fall 2018 semester. Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester's work are placed on the College's Dean's Honor List.

Manchester Community College, Manchester CT

• Yulia Vasilenko of Southington was named to the Dean's List fort the fall 2018 semester. Full-time students enrolled in 12 credits or more and who have earned a GPA of 3.4 with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in that semester are eligible for the Dean’s List. Part-time students are eligible for recognition with the same criteria when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Amelia M. Sponauer of Southington has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the fall 2018 semester. Sponauer is working toward a BSBA in Marketing Communication/Advertising. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
• Western New England University congratulates more than 700 students, including seven from Southington, named to the fall 2018 Dean's List. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Honorees from Southington and their majors are Mark Meade, Computer Science; John Testa, Computer Science; Daniel Topper, Mechanical Engineering; Bryan Doyle, Accounting; Joseph Koczera, Accounting; Alyssa Pelosi, Arts and Entertainment Management; and Vincent Viturale, Business.
