Assumption College, Worcester MA

• The Assumption Department of English has announced that Stephanie Edick, of Southington, has become a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International Honor Society for those who study English. Edick, Class of 2020, was inducted into the honor society during a ceremony on April 2.

Delaware Valley University, Doylestown PA

• Cassidy Vinal, of Southington, has been accepted for admission at Delaware Valley University.

Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA

• Olivia Fischer of Southington is being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in the spring of 2019. Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest Greek-letter society in America, exists to promote liberal learning, to recognize academic excellence, and to support and encourage scholars in their work.
