Drunk, Angry Woman Drives Car Into Her Husband's Southington House, Cops Say

Police say the suspect drove her car through the front door of her estranged husband's house causing significant damage.

Now that is no way to end a fight, legally speaking of course.

Southington police say Jennifer Lusi, 31, was so intoxicated and mad at her estranged spouse that she drove her car through his front door and into the living room of his home causing significant damage to the house.

At 9:04 pm the Southington Police Department received a report of a verbal argument at 55 Paul Heights.

Further investigation revealed that Luisi, of Southington, arrived at the home and began banging on the door attempting to speak with the victim (her estranged husband), police said.

The victim then dialed 911. Luisi reentered her vehicle and drove her vehicle into the front of the home which was occupied by the victim, police said.

At the time of the incident, there was an active “ No Contact” protective order in place between Luisi and the victim.

Officers also suspected that Luisi was under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Luisi was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace, and DUI.

Luisi was processed and held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond with an appearance date of 12/24/2014 at the Bristol Court.

Due to the damage to the home, the Southington Fire Department and the Southington Building Inspector also responded to the scene and the home was deemed to be structurally sound.
