Arrest Made In Southington Church Burglary

An arrest has been made in a Southington Church burglary.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — An arrest has been made in a Southington Church burglary.

On Wednesday Southington police responded to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 145 Main Street for a reported burglary.

A safe was stolen from the church and a portion of the property was damaged in the process, police said. A report does not mention what was in the safe.

Members of the Southington Police Department Detective Division responded to the scene and collected "several types of evidence," and later that day, Southington police received a notice from the State of Connecticut Forensic Laboratory and dev eloped a suspect, according to a report.

He was identified as Dylan Fournier, of Southington, and charged via a warrant with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny.

Fournier was held on a court-set $50,000 bond and was to appear in New Britain Superior Court on Friday.
