Arrest Made in Southington Target Shoplifting Case

An arrest has been made for a theft at the Southingtion Target.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A 23-year-old Waterbury resident has been charged for a shoplifting incident at the Southington Target store, police.

On May 14, Cerena Stimpson was arrested on an outstanding warrant for fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, police said.

The warrant was the result of an incident that occurred in April when she allegedly stole $857.98 in merchandise from the store. Stimpson, police said.

She was released on a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on May 21, police said.
