Barbecue Restaurant Commits To Southington Parcel
An old Dunkin' Donuts is being turned into a barbecue restaurant in Southington.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Pig Rig BBQ is expanding into Southington with its second and brick and mortar restaurant.
A Spring 2022 opening has been targeted at 1843 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike. That's the old Dunkin' Donuts building between the TA Truck Stop and the AMC movie theater complex.
"We sincerely thank all of our fans for the incredible support," ownership said.

Pig Rig BBQ is a caterer, a hot rod food truck, and a restaurant with its original location in Wallingford.
It's known for "up authentic smoked BBQ for any occasion" and it owned by a local Army veteran.

The other motto is, "Pig Rig is your place to pig out on barbecue straight from an Ole Hickory Smoker with irresistible house-made specialty sauces and sides."
