SOUTHINGTON, CT - A bear was hit on a section of Interstate-84 at about 6 a.m. this morning, state police told the Record-Journal.
The bear was killed and removed from the road by troopers and the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was called to the scene.
A state employee noticed the bear and called state police, according to the story.
