Like Beer? Like Books? Southington Library Has The Event For You
The Southington Public Library's 'Books and Brews' group will take place Monday, March 31, at a local brewery for a unique literary forum.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — If you like to read and you like beer, then a Southington Public Library program might just be perfect for you if you are age 21 and over.
The library will host its "Books and Brews" book discussion group for adults on Monday, March 31, at Kinsmen Brewing, 409 Canal St., Milldale (Southington).
Registration for the free event is requested.

Unlike many book discsusion groups, this one doesn't have a specific book that all folks are reading.
This one features folks discussing what they're reading and bringing a book or two to swap with others.

So, there's no pressure to become an academic scholar regarding a particular work and there's no deadlines that have to be met to complete the books.
It's just folks sipping craft beer and chatting about what they're reading.
"You're guaranteed to leave with a long to-be-read list," wrote the library.
